Basic, One-Click Chrome Extensions Every One Should Know About!

New to chrome extensions?  Need to be more efficient on your computer?  That is why I love these chrome extensions.  Not only do they require just one-click to use them, but they require no computer skills.  These are the first chrome extensions that I used to learn about extensions.  Even though I use many more chrome extensions now, I still use these to save time and be more efficient.

How do I download Chrome extensions?

Watch the video to learn how to download a chrome extension.

One Tab

When I am working on my computer, I have a HUGE open tab problem.  One tab solved my problem of always having a million tabs open.  All you need to do is download one tab to your chrome taskbar.  Then, when you notice you have a lot of tabs open, just click the one tab icon.  After this, all your open tabs can be found on a single page.  The other interesting part of this extension is that you can then import the page and send the page to yourself for later reference or to your students so they can access the pages that you had open.

One-Click Full Page ScreenShot

This chrome extension is a real time saver and simple to use.  After downloading this extension, all you have to do it click the camera on your chrome taskbar (see picture below).  After you click the camera, another tab opens with a full-page screenshot of whatever page you were currently on.

Grammarly

Everyone could always use extra editing help.  That is why I love Grammarly.  All you do is download the extension and it works for you!  Whenever you are writing an email, blog or most of your favorite sites, Grammarly is working to double-check your spelling and grammar.  Teachers just need to look for the underlined words to find any possible errors.

Save to Google Drive

This is a fun chrome extension because it allows you to efficiently save pictures or websites to google drive.  After downloading the extension, all you need to do to save an image or website is right-click.  Then, click on save to google drive and it will automatically be waiting for you in your google drive folder.

Tab Scissors

This is an extension that can really help with productivity.  Any time that you want to split the screen on your computer, you just need to click on Tab Scissors and it automatically splices your screen.

Tab Glue

Tab Glue works with Tab Scissors.  After you have used tab scissors, to quickly put your tabs back together, all you need to do is click on tab glue.  This will put all your tabs back together on one full screen.

I love using these extensions because they help me be more efficient and save time when working on my computer, plus they are super simple to use and require just one-click.
